Authorities Searching for Car Involved in Fatal Hit Skip Accident

DELAWARE COUNTY (Brooke Stromp) -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol is searching for a vehicle that struck and killed a cyclist late Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to body found in a ditch on Miller-Paul Road and Robins Road in Delaware County after 12 p.m. Sunday.

Two cyclists found the deceased male in a ditch while riding on Miller-Paul Road.

The male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Authorities believe the male cyclist was on the side of the road when he was struck by the vehicle.

Investigators are searching for a dark charcoal colored vehicle with heavy front end damage and a shattered windshield.

Officials have identified the victim as 64 year-old Robert Lennon.
