COLUMBUS (AP) -- Prosecutors say a driver's blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit when he hit and killed a tow truck driver on a central Ohio interstate highway last fall.
A grand jury in Columbus indicted 59-year-old Thomas Frederick on Wednesday.
He's charged with two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence, aggravated vehicular homicide and other charges.
Prosecutors said his blood alcohol level was 0.242 at the time of the early morning Sept. 29 crash.
The legal limit for driving in Ohio is 0.80.
He is charged with killing 60-year-old William Houck, who was standing along the berm of Interstate 71 hooking a vehicle to his tow truck when he was hit.
