LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Peter Graves' mission is now over. He played Jim Phelps on the old "Mission: Impossible" series. He died yesterday outside his Los Angeles home. His publicist says Phelps suffered an apparent heart attack after having brunch with his family. Graves would have turned 84 this week. Graves also had a flare for comedy. He played the airline pilot in the "Airplane!" movies. He says it was tough not crack-up while making the spoofs.

"SHE'S OUT OF MY LEAGUE" - KRYSTEN RITTER

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Krysten Ritter has never rated a guy like the guys rate the girls in "She's Out of My League." She says that's a guy thing. She says women are a "different species." She goes for a guy with a good personality who can make her laugh and show her a good time. It would help if he likes to bowl, too. She's really good and got to bowl a strike on the first take in the movie.

"REMEMBER ME" - ROBERT PATTINSON

NEW YORK (AP) -- It was strange for Robert Pattinson to be in a movie without biting anyone. He stars in the romantic drama "Remember Me." He says it was "kind of a relief" to be in a movie set in the real world. Pattinson especially enjoyed not having to be covered in vampire makeup.

"AMERICAN IDOL" - TODRICK HALL

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Some of the judges on "American Idol" put the "Glee" idea in Todrick Hall's head. Now he's running with it. Since Hall's been voted off "American Idol," he says he's his "own campaign manager" to get a role on "Glee" because he'd "be perfect for that show." Simon Cowell had given Hall a sort of backhanded compliment when he said he looked like he was doing "American Idol: The Musical." Then, Randy Jackson chimed in with "Glee." That's all it took and now Hall is determined to land a role.

ROB LOWE - WANTS "BROTHERS AND SISTERS" EXIT IDEAS

UNDATED (AP) -- Is this how they write TV shows now, with suggestions from Twitter? Rob Lowe is asking his Twitter followers for ideas about how his character should exit "Brothers and Sisters." Lowe throws a few ideas of his own out there like "Divorce? Kidnapping? Slip on a banana and die?" Lowe's character, Senator Robert McCallister, who's married to Calista Flockhart's character, Kitty, is leaving at the end of this season. It's hard to imagine the writers haven't mapped out his departure by now. Lowe has started filming his guest role on "Parks and Recreation." He'll be in the last two episodes of this season and into the next. And, Lowe reportedly is in talks with ABC for his own show.
